A recent sporting update for you.
A recent sporting update for you.
On Tuesday Years 4, 5 and 6 competed in the Brownlee Foundation and Tata Kids of Steel Trathlon event.
Today we all wore wellies to show our support for the charity Winston’s Wish.
It was amazing seeing everyone walking around in a variety of different colour and styles of wellies. The children have enjoyed all the activities that have taken place today and a lovely slice of cake was the perfect way to end the day.
Miss McMullen and the School Council were overwhelmed by everyone’s generosity not only on the Just giving page but with the after school cake sale as well.
A massive than you to all who donated cakes and for all your donations.
Winston's Wish is a fantastic charity and we raised a phenomenal £812.35 for them, Thank you everyone!
This week we attended the Oundle Festival of Literature and had entries in both individual and group categories.
We could not be more proud of each and every student that took part and we were blown away with the results!
We are very pleased with our latest set of Sports results as a school
Every year the School Council like to raise money for their chosen charities by running a Healthy Tuck Shop.
Since the start of this academic year we have had some fantastic sporting results, here is a snippet of what we've all been getting up to!
Hello Yellow is back again!
Today we have been celebrating world mental health day. It was so lovely to see so many of us all dressed in yellow– the school looked so bright and warm on such a grey day! We have been blown away by the total of donations so far– a massive £553 plus gift aid! This far exceeded our £200 target so thank you very much for you contributions. There is still time to donate so if you would like to, you can head to the just giving page here: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/kceps.
After his work last year on the children’s ‘Heroes of History,’ Colin Slater has returned to complete another art piece for our library.
As you know, we have started the build for our amazing ‘Outdoor Learning Area’. We are very excited about being able to offer our children an alternative environment in which to develop their inquiring minds. We are incredibly lucky to be able to offer this resource area and teachers are already busy, planning ideas on how to create inspiring and exciting learning opportunities for their classes.
