Kings Cliffe Endowed Primary School is working to embed a values-based education within the school which seeks to promote an educational philosophy based on valuing self, others and the environment.

This is achieved through encouraging children and adults to think using an ethical values vocabulary (principles that guide behaviour). It encourages adults to model values and to give children time for reflective practises that help them become effective learners and good citizens.

During our assemblies, the children decide on an appropriate value of the week. Through this we encourage not only staff and children to talk and think about values, but also parents and wider family to do this outside school as well.
